SUSU is delighted to be working with Gift on this exciting and innovative new project that will offer University of Southampton students and staff online and instore discounts from a range of top brand names and local retailers.

It’s important to us that Gift are both a local company and have a highly reputable record. Southampton University Students’ Union (SUSU) is always looking to work in partnership with local businesses where it helps improve the quality of time that our students spend in the city. 

What appeals to us in particular is that the new Gift-ed card will be free for all SUSU students and University staff. SUSU is inundated with requests to distribute discount cards each Freshers’ period. Usually these schemes are quick money making ventures with no business model, launch strategy, or distribution plan which results in exploiting us, the students, and the local retailers. In the Gift-ed card we have a tried and trusted business model that will be providing our students with a free service as well as making donations back to SUSU which in turn is spent on student facilities. That’s why SUSU are delighted to be a part of the Gift-ed card and fully endorse it to businesses as well as fully distributing it to our students.
